On July 13th, the shelter was visited by a gathering of SUPER HEROES who braved the sweltering heat to help our kids. The gathering sported 153 motorcycles, carrying over 200 people to spend a day with the kids at the shelter for Food, Fun, Fellowship and Funds. Bikers from all over the state of Texas and beyond gather to support our work with some of Texas’ most vulnerable children. The children were blessed with lots of attention and entertainment. The shelter was blessed with some much needed funding assistance and lots of things from our needs list. And we all had lots of food and fun.
A very special “THANKS” to all our motorcycle clubs and friends for their continuous support and care for our kids.
Thank you ABATE for helping again to prepare, cook, serve and clean up.
Thanks to Kaufman Police Department for escorting our very special friends to our party.
